Step 1 :

50+ Biomarker Blood Assessment & Review

The Levels blood panel examines over 50 biomarkers focused on your metabolic, hormone, immune, cardiovascular and nutritional health. For your convenience, your blood can be collected in-clinic with one of our Clay team members or at a location nearest you.

Advance Blood Analysis
Group 427319434.png

The Levels Assessment blood panel collects datapoints on over 50 biomarkers to help our clinical teams evaluate metabolic health, hormone health, immune function, and cardiovascular risk. We believe a detailed review of these measures is critical to understanding not only risk but developing an actionable plan to help clients extend their health span.

Why Do You Start With A New Blood Test?
The Levels Assessment blood panel is different from a traditional preventative health panel. Because everyone’s biochemistry is changing all the time, we base recommendations on all values at a single moment in time to tell the story. Compiling results from different blood panels can create misleading recommendations.

Body Composition
inBody.png

Your body fat and muscle composition tell an important story about your current level of health and help our Clinicians and Coaches make more informed recommendations.

At Clay, we use InBody, a professional-grade body composition scanner, to collect this information. When compared with other well-known scanners such as the DEXA and BWA2.0, InBody performed within a 95% confidence range while reducing the risk of harm from unnecessary exposure to radiation.

Strength Test

Complete a full-body strength assessment from our partner, OsteoStrong, to gain insights into how your strength and bone density can be accelerated through healthy exercise.

OsteoStrong is a program that uses specialized machines to strengthen bones and muscles through a process called osteogenic loading. Osteogenic loading involves applying brief but intense forces to bones to stimulate bone growth and remodeling. The goal of the program is to improve bone density and strength, reduce the risk of injury, and enhance athletic performance. This assessment provides an objective metric of your current strength.

Clinical Consultation
Group 427319434.png

During your consultation, your Clay Clinician will discuss every blood biomarker in detail to help you learn how each measure contributes to your health and identify steps you can take to improve.

Your Clay Clinician will also review the results from your body composition assessment and strength assessment, calibrating against your personal goals to recommend a path forward to help you achieve optimal health.

Why do you start with a new blood test?

The Clay Levels panel is focused not just on indicators of disease but indicators of health. The biomarkers we selected focus on key factors most likely to help you feel and perform better everyday. Because your biochemistry is changing all the time, we base recommendations on all values at a single moment in time to tell the most complete story.

  • Preventative health visits lack actionable insights. While blood draws are common, the panels focus on identification of disease vs. health guidance. The Levels Assessment utilizes an Advanced Blood Test providing an objective view of your body function. During your consultation, your Clay provider will discuss every biomarker in detail to help you learn how each measure contributes to your health & identify steps you can take to improve your biomarkers toward optimal health.

  • Alongside blood, your body fat and muscle tell an important story about your current level of health. Understanding how much fat is around your organs and just under the skin, as well as how much muscle you carry, helps the Clinicians and Coaches make more informed recommendations about medications and supplements.

  • When will I see results from botulinum toxin and how long does it last?
Many patients notice results begin within 24-48 hours after injection, and the medication will take full effect within 2 weeks.  Most patients see lasting results for at least 3 months and up to 6 months after injection.
  • What is botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin A (name brand Botox®) is an injectable prescription medication used for cosmetic purposes.  Botox is injected into a targeted muscle group to create relaxation by blocking nerve signals to the muscle. By directing treatment to fine lines and wrinkles, you will notice a more youthful look without the need for costly and invasive cosmetic surgery.
  • What botulinum toxin products do you offer?
We stock both Xeomin and Botox branded products. Many patients find the best success from mixing products with repeat use to limit risk associated with tolerance build up.
  • How much does botulinum toxin cost?
In the state of Nevada, the purchase of a full vial of botulinum toxin is required due to regulations and guidelines set forth by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners and the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy. These regulations prioritize patient safety and efficacy of treatment by ensuring that Botox, a prescription medication, is handled, stored, and administered appropriately by licensed healthcare professionals. The purchase of a full vial aligns with regulations and guarantees the medication is used within its recommended dosage and under proper medical supervision to maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety. Pricing is based on the purchase of a full vial at $550/each for non-members or $499/each for members. We recommend meeting with a Clay Clinician for a free consult to discuss your goals and develop a plan for injections and required volume. Many patient find great results with only 1 vial.
  • What will happen during my botulinum toxin visit?
Your visit will begin with a consultation with a licensed clinician to understand your goals and ensure results you will love. After you decide on a plan, your clinician will sterilize the area to be treated using a medical pen to mark injection sites. They will then use a very thin needle to inject tiny amounts of the neuromodulator designed to allow your facial muscles in that location to relax.
  • What are possible side effects of botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin injections are generally safe cosmetic procedures, but they may carry potential side effects. Common side effects include temporary bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site, mild headache, or flu-like symptoms. In some cases, there might be temporary drooping of eyelids or eyebrows if the botulinum toxin spreads beyond the intended area. Rarely, allergic reactions, lumps, asymmetry, or infection may occur. It's crucial to discuss potential risks with your healthcare provider and adhere to post-treatment care instructions to minimize these risks and ensure a safe and satisfactory outcome.
